By car, train or plane to the holiday destination in Salzburg
Reach your holiday destination Saalbach-Hinterglemm by car or by train and postbus. If you have a long journey ahead of you, we recommend using the nearby airports in Munich and Salzburg. We are particularly delighted to our German guests that you need no road tax disc to get to us!
You can conveniently park your car on the hotel’s free parking ground after arriving. There you can also take a break because you can access the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm as well as the hiking and biking network without detours or further drives directly from our Hotel Oberschwarzach. The rooms are available on the day of arrival from 14.00 clock for you. On the day of departure we ask you to vacate the rooms by 10.30 am.
Motorway A1 Vienna-Salzburg, then on the A10 to Bischhofshofen. Continue on the Bundesstrasse 311 to St. Johann/Pongau-Zell am See-Maishofen, then on the Landesstrasse 111 Hinterglamm. Drive through the village and cross the Saalach. Take a sharp left into the Dorfstrasse and immediately turn right into the Schwarzacherweg. Follow the road (partly winding) to Hotel Oberschwarzach on the right side of the road.
Alternate route: motorway A1 to Salzburg-Wals/Exit 297, then across the “Kleines Deutsches Eck” towards Bad Reichenhall, then via Lofer and Saalfelden to Maishofen. Continue on the Landesstrasse 111 as aforementioned.
From Munich on the A8 towards Salzburg, take the exit Siegsdorf (approx. 30 km before Salzburg) and drive via Inzell -Lofer-Saalfelden to Maishofen. Continue on the Landesstrasse 111 as aforementioned.
Take the Tauern Autobahn A10 towards Salzburg until Knoten Bischofshofen, then on the Pinzgauer Bundesstrasse B311 to Zell am See. Continue to Maishofen and on the Landesstrasse L111 as aforementioned.
Destination station from all directions is Zell am See, about 20 km from Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Continue your journey by postbus or, more conveniently, by taxi.
